Digg it? KKB's music is very influenced by J-Pop culture and music. It's actually not hard to tell since Sarah Midori often raps in Japanese and English. Their song are usually written using a Casio SA-45 mini-keyboard. They put so much fun into their music which sounds a lot like game boys music. Actually KKB reminds me a lot of a band from New York, Anmaguchi.

The Walk adalah film yang diangkat dari kisah nyata seorang high-wire artist asal Perancis, Philippe Petit. Dua kata untuk film ini. Breathtaking dan geregetan. Awal mulai film menceritakan kenapa dan bagaimana Petit tertarik pada seni berjalan diatas kabel. Jujur aja gue terkesan ketika dia berbicara dalam bahasa Perancis dengan aksen nya yang lancar ia seperti tidak memiliki aksen khusus. Dan ketika dia harus berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris dengan aksen Perancis itu pun membuat gue berkata "nice" beberapa kali sepanjang film diputar. Ternyata seetekah gue cari-cari biografi, Joseph Gordon-Levitt pernah belajar French Poetry. Gila ya, hari gini masih ada cowo yang belajar hal itu. Ya, mungkin kalian sedikit sadar gue udah mulai tergila-gila dengan aktor ini. Film pertama dimana ada dia yang pernah gue tonton adalah !0 Things I hate About. Disitu JGL masih cupu. 

Anyway, balik lagi ke film The Walk. Plot menceritakan bahwa Petit mempunyai mimpi atau lebih tepatnya obsesi untuk melakukan hal-hal ilegal dan anarkis dengan berjalan diatas tali kabel. Mimpi pertama dan terbesarnya adalah berjalan diatas kabel diantara gedung kembar tertinggi pada jamannya yaitu The World Trade Center. I like how the movie gave some sort of soul to The twin Tower. Banyak sekali quotes yang dapat kita kutip dari film ini karena banyak yang bagus. Ya iya lah.

Forever alone

The Martian adalah film science fiction yang sekarang mendekati realita ya, penuh denga humor dan campur serius. Cerita mengenai tim astronot NASA yang ketika sedang mengeksplorasi planet Mars tertimpa badai. Komandan tim, Lewis (Jessica Chastain) pun akhirnya memutuskan bahwa mereka harus kembali masuk ke pesawat Hermes mereka dan lepas landas. Namun saat semua anggota tim berlajan melawan angin badai untuk mencapai pesawat mereka, angin yang begitu kencang akhirnya membuat salah satu dari astronot Mark Watney (Matt Damon) terpental jauh karena terkena puing. Karena astronot tersebut tidak dapat terdeteksi lokasinya, akhirnya komandan pun dengan berat hati memutuskan untuk lepas landas.

Gue yakin banyak penggemar berat komik Shingeki no Kyojin / Attack on Titan yang udah tidak sabar dengan Live action nya. Dan, gue salah satu nya. It's been like more than two years since my post about the anime dan akhirnya, FUNimation kasih kabar.. gembira? Live action Attack on Titan akan terbagi menjadi dua parts . The first part released in Japan on August 1, 2015 and the second part, titled Attack on Titan: End of the World (進撃の巨人 エンド オブ ザ ワールド Shingeki no Kyojin: Endo obu za Wārudo. Immediately to follow on September 19, 2015. The film was directed by Shinji Higuchi, written by Yūsuke Watanabe ya kalo masuk Indonesia kapan. Semoga saja bareng sama yang diluar sana. Iya, luar angakasa -terserah lu deh Marsya. Jangan sampe gue harus download T.T

Some say it was an funny movie.. some say it was the weirdest Marvel movie..

Well I gotta say, I laugh a couple of times yesterday while watching Ant-Man. At first, I didn't want to watch it because it seems like everyone are going to the movies to watch it. So I thought let's watch something else.. Ant-Man was/is actually too mainstream for me. But I ended up watching it with my friends. Ha! 

Another Disney movie, yeay! So today I'll try to review this movie from Disney call Tomorrowland. 

Tomorrowland is a really good movie. Or should I say it's a great sci-fi movie that you could see it with your family or with your date ;) Well I didn't watch it with my loved one.. that I did enjoy it anyway. It's full of fantasy, humor and.. it told simple stories about life but gave extraordinary meaning.

My favorite parts of the movie are countless.. not really haha.. I still could count them with my fingers, I guess so. I remember quite well when Casey Newton went to see for the first time Tomorrowland.. kind of amazing but things turned out funny because she looked crazy to those who couldn't see what she saw.. Or when she finally met a little girl who is actually an Audio-Animatronic (read: robot) 

Well life turned out pretty interesting for a teenage girl who only aimed to help her dad, an Engineer for NASA, to be able to work for NASA.

So I give 9/10 for this movie. Cheers!

Japanese Traditional Festival in Little Tokyo Blok M, Ennichisai is back on May 9th - 10th 2015.

Always Smile is the theme of the annual event Ennichisai Blok M Little Tokyo this year. This theme was chosen because the main purpose of Ennichisai is friendship, where a smile is an important thing that can strengthen the friendship. Smile is also what made Ennichisai always awaited by everyone. By always smiling, we will continue to think positively and optimistically towards the dream we want to achieve.

Cinderella is a classic Disney animated movie based on its true fairy tale. Ella lost her mother when she was a child and lost her dear father when she was older. Her father left her with a step-mother and two step-sisters who treated her as their maidservant. The story is dramatically full of tear and sadness but shows how brave and kind Cinderella was from the beginning until the end of the happy ending. As a parent, you probably would censored some parts of the movie (very short kissing scenes/ step-mother's cruelty, little mild language..) But overall, this fairy tale is quite presentable to watch it with kids.

Jakarta Toys & Comic Fair will be back soon on 7-8 March 2015 #JTCF11. For their 11th consecutive years, the event will be held at Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini, Jakarta.

Based on their official Twitter account, there will be as usual cosplay competition, loads of booths (toys, comics, etc). And please note that they will have a guest star apparence, a cosplay icon from Canada, Miss DANIELLE (PureLight Cosplay). I honestly never heard about her before, but if she's been invited, she must have been famous among cosplayers, aite? :p
