Review: Ant-Man (2015)

Some say it was an funny movie.. some say it was the weirdest Marvel movie..
Well I gotta say, I laugh a couple of times yesterday while watching Ant-Man. At first, I didn't want to watch it because it seems like everyone are going to the movies to watch it. So I thought let's watch something else.. Ant-Man was/is actually too mainstream for me. But I ended up watching it with my friends. Ha!

Review: Tomorrowland | 2015

Another Disney movie, yeay! So today I'll try to review this movie from Disney call Tomorrowland. 
Tomorrowland is a really good movie. Or should I say it's a great sci-fi movie that you could see it with your family or with your date ;) Well I didn't watch it with my loved one.. that I did enjoy it anyway. It's full of fantasy, humor and.. it told simple stories about life but gave extraordinary meaning.




My favorite parts of the movie are countless.. not really haha.. I still could count them with my fingers, I guess so. I remember quite well when Casey Newton went to see for the first time Tomorrowland.. kind of amazing but things turned out funny because she looked crazy to those who couldn't see what she saw.. Or when she finally met a little girl who is actually an Audio-Animatronic (read: robot) 
Well life turned out pretty interesting for a teenage girl who only aimed to help her dad, an Engineer for NASA, to be able to work for NASA.

So I give 9/10 for this movie. Cheers!

Review: Cinderella 2015

Have Courage and be kind.

Cinderella is a classic Disney animated movie based on its true fairy tale. Ella lost her mother when she was a child and lost her dear father when she was older. Her father left her with a step-mother and two step-sisters who treated her as their maidservant. The story is dramatically full of tear and sadness but shows how brave and kind Cinderella was from the beginning until the end of the happy ending. As a parent, you probably would censored some parts of the movie (very short kissing scenes/ step-mother's cruelty, little mild language..) But overall, this fairy tale is quite presentable to watch it with kids.

Jakarta Toys & Comics Fair 2015

Jakarta Toys & Comic Fair will be back soon on 7-8 March 2015 #JTCF11. For their 11th consecutive years, the event will be held at Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini, Jakarta.

Based on their official Twitter account, there will be as usual cosplay competition, loads of booths (toys, comics, etc). And please note that they will have a guest star apparence, a cosplay icon from Canada, Miss DANIELLE (PureLight Cosplay). I honestly never heard about her before, but if she's been invited, she must have been famous among cosplayers, aite? :p

Review: Finding Cepu!

Akhirnya, well, setelah sebulan lebih ngga post artikel, akhirnya gue balik lagi ke dunia blog! Ciye. Dan setelah sibuk pusing-pusing dengan Tugas Akhir, akhirnya gue diwisuda juga. Alhamdu~lilah. Ok skip, disini gue bukan mau curhat tentang kehidupan post-masa kuliah gue tapi, gue mau review komik berjudul Finding Cepu yang dibuat oleh salah satu rekan gue di Radio Budi Luhur a.k.a Novin atau -katanya sih- dikenal Novin HD (High quality Djomblo, emaap).

Ternyata, Finding Cepu ini bukan karya pertama sang komikus. Ia sudah mulai membuat komik sejak tahun 2012 dengan karakter unik "Si Du-Dul". Finding Cepu sendiri adalah Tugas Akhir sebagai syarat kelulusan komikus dari fakultas ilmu komunikasi dari Universitas Budi Luhur Jakarta.

Keripik Singkong COKOTEN :9

Cokoten? Nama yang unik ya? Kalo dapam bahasa sunda, cokot artinya "ambil". Tapi katanya dalam bahasa jawa artinya "gigit"? 

Beberapa hari yang lalu gue dapet oleh-oleh dari temen abang gue tiga bungkus keripik singkong. Tiga bungkus dengan tiga rasa : keju, keju pedas dan balado.
Keripik-keripik singkong tersebut dibungkus secara rapi dalam kantong plastik ber-zipper. Intinya setelah lo buka kemasan, lo dapat menutupnya kembali tanpe perlu cari karet dapur :p

Setelah cari info di Internet, ternyata keripik Cokoten berasal dari Cilegon lho. Tidak hanya bikin gue ketagihan, tapi menurut sumber, banyak manfaat yang didapat dari keripik Cokoten:

1. Sumber Karbohidrat
Singkong memiliki jumlah kalori dua kali lipat dibandingkan kentang. So, nggak salah kalau singkong menjadi salah satu makanan pokok sebagai sumber karbohidrat. 100 gram singkong mengandung 160 kalori dan sebagian besar terdiri dari sukrosa.

2. Protein Tinggi
Singkong lebih rendah lemak dibanding sereal dan kacang-kacangan. Walaupun begitu, singkong punya kandungan protein yang tinggi dibandingkan ubi, kentang dan pisang.

3. Vitamin K
Singkong kaya akan vitamin K yang memiliki peran dalam membangun masa tulang, jadi mengkonsumsi singkong dapat menurunkan risiko osteoporosis. Selain itu, vitamin K akan melindungi dan berperan penting dalam pengobatan pasien Alzheimer karena dapat membatasi kerusakan saraf di otak.

4. Vitamin B kompleks
Umbi yang lezat ini adalah sumber vitamin B kompleks dan kelompok vitamin seperti folates, thiamin, piridoksin (vitamin B-6), riboflavin, dan asam pantotenat. Riboflavin berperan dalam pertumbuhan tubuh dan memproduksi sel darah merah untuk mengurangi anemia.

5. Mineral penting
Singkong merupakan sumber mineral yang penting bagi tubuh, antara lain seng, magnesium, tembaga, besi, dan mangan. Selain itu, singkong punya jumlah kalium yang cukup sebagai komponen penting pembentukan sel tubuh dan mengatur tekanan darah.

Sebuah penelitian seperti dilansir Affleap menunjukkan manfaat singkong sebagai penurun kadar kolesterol jahat dalam darah. 

6. Sumber Serat
Nggak cuma itu, singkong juga bisa menurunkan kadar trigliserida dan menjadi sumber serat yang bagus. Nggak heran kalau singkong bisa menurunkan risiko penyakit jantung, stroke, kanker usus besar dan membantu mengendalikan diabetes. 


Berminat untuk mencoba? Udah ada resellernya lho dijakarta.. Variatif sih harga di rseller.. ada yang Rp 7500-8000 per bungkus tapi minimal harus beli selusin.. tapi ada juga yang jual seharga Rp 14000.. 

Nih sisa keripik Cokoten rasa balado tinggal segini dirumah gue.. :(

Yo! Akhirnya gue nonton film yang awalnya ngga menarik perhatian gue :| Biasanya gue males nonton film lokal alias made in negeri sendiri. Jujur aja kalo film lokal gue lebih suka nonton film pendek, film yang diangkat dari novel atau yah film drama romantis.. Film bergenre komedi yang gue tonton sejauh ini film Radityadika yang diangkat dari novelnya sendiri. Nah, kalo buat film bergenre yang mau gue review kali ini, jujur aja awalnya gue sempet meragukan kualitas film nya,dari segi plot nya sih yang paling penting. Yaiyalah ya secara film haha. Ngga ada salahnya kan gue coba nonton (akhirnya!). Okay quit the crap.

Sword Art Online II, 2014 Activated!

I must be 3 days late. But according to the official website, there will be a sequel of the anime called Sword Art Online (SAO) coming this year 2014. SAO II is planned to cover the Phantom Bullet Arc, volume 5 and 6 of the original light novel written by Reki Kawahara. Let's hope that the sequel will be as good as the first one. Or better :)
